Get rid of moles.

Mole Problem in your Yard or Garden?

Get rid of this trouble-maker with these easy-to-use products.

Moles are a nuisance around the home and garden because they dig tunnels just below the surface of the ground. We have three ways to deal with this pest. The first involves the use of a trap. The second choice uses a bait that looks like a worm - a mole's favorite meal. And, the third option is an All-natural repellent that's safe for pets and children.

Mole Trap

The most effective method to get rid of moles! Many University studies over the years have shown that the most effective method of getting rid of moles is by using traps. This professional-grade, harpoon-style Mole Trap is very effective when placed over active, mole tunnels. It is easy to use, even if you have never trapped moles before.

The best time to set Mole Traps

You will be more successful in the Spring and Fall, especially after it rains. This is because the mole's tunnels tend to be nearer the surface and are easier to treat.

How to find active mole tunnels

To find out which tunnels are actively being used, step down on a raised tunnel, mark the spot, then check back in 24 to 48 hours.

How to set a successful trap

Moles are alert to changes in their environment and will simply go around a poorly placed trap, so it is very important to do it correctly: Step #1. Flatten the ground over the tunnel.
Step #2. Set the trap legs firmly into the ground until the trigger pan rests firmly on top of the soil. Then test fire the trap a few times to clear the path for the harpoons.
Step #3. If your traps have not been tripped in 2 to 3 days, move them to new locations.

The best places to set Mole Traps

Long straight tunnels are often the most heavily traveled. This is where you want to place a Mole Trap. Moles live alone, although their tunnels may connect with other mole's tunnels.

How many Mole Traps should you set?

You will need to place a Mole Trap over each of the main tunnels to ensure you get them all.

Safety Tips for Children and Pets

When properly set up, Mole Traps are safe around children and pets, as long as they leave them alone. Some people put a bucket over the top of the trap to keep it from being accidentally set off.

Talpirid Bait

The only tested and proven mole bait on the market. Talpirid Mole Bait is extremely effective poison bait that is shaped to look like a worm - a mole's favorite meal. Once moles feed on this bait, they will die quickly. One box of Talpirid Mole Bait comes with two trays of 10 worm baits per tray. One worm bait is a lethal dose for a mole.

For an alternative to traps and bait, use all-natural Whole Control liquid repellent. This natural repellent simply tastes bad. As moles tunnel, they will come in contact with the bad tasting soil which will encourage them to find food elsewhere.
